Doors open 20 minutes before class. We recommend arriving a least 10 minutes before class starts. This gives you time to check in, change clothes, put your mat down and fill your water bottle. Class starts promptly when scheduled and front doors will be locked to prevent disruptions.

Come to yoga! Increased flexibility and strong muscles are both possible with regular practice. Yoga is a process; your flexibility and level of fitness will improve as you continue to come to class.

There are several reasons for the heat:
- It is helpful in allowing the body to sink into postures safely, minimizing risk of injury by increasing elasticity of the muscles. This encourages greater flexibility with a lower risk of injury.
-The heat also facilitates sweating, which helps detoxify the body.
-Heat also encourages a cardiovascular workout.
-Additionally, the intensity of the heat encourages the need for concentration and focus while strengthening willpower and self-control.

Medical benefits are usually evident with 3 practices per week. The more you practice, the greater the benefit for your health and well-being. Many of our students aim for 5-6 classes a week. Yoga can be practiced every day, as it’s a great way to take some time for yourself before your day begins or as it is ending.
-
YES! All classes can be safely practiced daily, and even twice daily. Many of our students enjoy taking more than 1 class a day as our classes compliment each other.

Be Yoga consistently strives for a safe and clean environment. Here are some measures we take:
We regularly use the ventilation system that brings fresh air from the outdoors into the studio room.
We open doors to both the lobby and the studio room to the outside air, turn on fans, and regularly bring in fresh air.
We clean and disinfect the studio before and after each class, and offer wipes to all attendees.
We have several hand sanitizing stations available, as well as two sinks in each locker room.
We encourage students to bring their own mats, towels and props.
We encourage students and teachers to stay home when they feel sick.
-
Our heated classes are open to students ages 16+. Kids age 14-15 must be accompanied by a parent. Kids under 14 are not permitted in heated classed. However, we do have kid-friendly events throughout the year, so keep an eye on our “events” page for some fun, kid-friendly classes!
Reminder: we have a discounted rate for teenagers- just check in with our front desk.
