    Hilary has been on the mat since 2006 and has been teaching since 2007. She has over 1000 hours of training through various schools, both in the U.S. and in India. Hilary has a background in dance, theatre, and strength training. Her classes are fun, playful, and challenging. Hilary's main goal at Be Yoga is to elevate the students' overall experience while also fostering personal and professional development amongst her staff. She has two boys and three bonus daughters, loves nature, and food from around the globe. Hilary's motto is "Live outside the box."

    Jaxen Hedberg

    Jaxen began his yoga journey at BYB in early 2022 at the recommendation of his meditation teacher to deepen his practice. He quickly found yoga to be essential for his physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. That fall, he decided to return to school to pursue a M.S. in Sports and Health Sciences with an emphasis in Health and Wellness Management at American Military University. He joined the BYB team as Front Desk Lead in early 2023 and completed Yin and Vinyasa Teacher Training later that year. He aspires to help everyone feel comfortable and confident in their bodies while fostering an inclusive environment.

    Ange fell in love with yoga in 2018 when she began practicing at Be Yoga. The studio gave her a place to move her body, calm her mind, and fill her soul. After her first barre class, she fell in love with the high-energy, dance-y, strength-based format. While feeling stuck in her corporate career, she decided to manifest something more meaningful. After completing the teacher training at Be Yoga, she decided to teach barre full time. For Ange, Barre is a source of joy, confidence, and passion that she loves to share. She hopes that you leave her class feeling alive, empowered, and strong.

    Emily Fish

    Emily spent years studying music and dance while dedicating her life to practicing yoga, traveling the world, and embracing the beauty of nature in all its forms. From a young age, she was inspired by her mother’s vision to be a creative force that empowers others to confidently change their lives. After spending three years in India, Emily began teaching yoga and meditation in 2010. Over time, she infused her practice with the fluidity of dance, the rhythm of music, and strength training. When she discovered barre, she instantly fell in love and knew it was the direction she wanted to grow as a teacher. Her classes are known for seamless, challenging transitions set to motivating, invigorating playlists.

    Ashley Wainscott

    Ashley started her regular yoga practice after having her third baby in
    2014. Growing up as a dancer, she saw it as a chance to lean into some balance and flexibility that was still with her from her youth. She stumbled
    upon Be Yoga and immediately fell in love with yoga for its challenge, both
    physically and mentally. Sooner than later, she found herself coming
    back for more, as often as she could. After working in the corporate
    world for 20 years, she started to find her balance and her need for self-care through yoga.

    Jill started practicing yoga to bring flexibility into her fitness regimen, which at the time, included a lot of running. After her first hot Hatha class in 2007, she was totally hooked. Despite the many changes life has brought, yoga has been a constant in Jill’s journey. Her practice has evolved to include many different styles of yoga. Gradually, her focus on the mat brought mental and spiritual benefits alongside the physical. In 2017, Jill completed her first 200-hour teacher training at Be Yoga. This life-changing experience ignited a passion to learn as much as possible about yoga theory and philosophy, which turned into a love for teaching that she never expected to discover.

    Jeremy Pautler

    Taking inspiration from many forms of movement and athletics, Jeremy uses yoga poses as a tool to explore alignment. He believes that all forms of movement have value and aims to build body awareness to sharpen the mind/body connection. In his classes, you can expect to find a variety of approaches towards learning, as he blends the traditional yoga practice with creative flows and sequencing. Jeremy aims to get you working hard while creating an environment where you feel encouraged to modify or intensify to get the best results for you. After moving through his fiery flows, he will lull you into a relaxed and mindful state as you enter savasana and meditation.

    Ayanna Olokunsu

    Ayanna’s holistic journey began with practicing yoga and meditation in 2012 and becoming a Reiki healer in 2016. Guided by a passion for service and nurturing others, Ayanna has supported her community in many ways, working as a childcare provider and serving as an in-home nurse aide for seniors during the pandemic. In 2022, Ayanna continued her healing work by becoming a doula and getting back into her yoga practice. After one class, Be Yoga became her home, where she completed Yin and Hatha teacher training in 2023.  Her goals at the studio are to build community, hold space, and offer opportunities for connection and growth.

    Samuel Haggerty

    Sam began his yoga journey in 2022 and, within a year, felt called to deepen his practice through teacher training in Hatha, Yin, and Vinyasa. He was drawn to yoga as a path to healing from physical injuries, but found it offered much more- a transformative way to navigate life. Living with blindness in both eyes, Sam found that the challenging nature of yoga was perfect for him as he began learning to truly 'see' through his practice and connect with the world through new eyes.

    Erin Trivelas

    Erin was a ballet dancer for 15 years, and her first experience with yoga was during high school. In 2017, she completed her 200-hour Vinyasa teacher training at Expand Yoga and then completed the Hot 26 Teacher Training through Be Yoga in 2021. Erin loves to practice all styles and will always be a student of yoga first and teacher second. She believes that yoga provides the greatest reward both physically and mentally and she shares that message with as many people, as often as she can. Erin loves being a part of the Be Yoga family and can't wait to see you on the mat.

    Joshua Gray

    Joshua began his yoga journey in 2018 at Be Yoga. From a young age, staying active through sports, martial arts, and dance was part of daily life. With encouragement from fellow performers and yoga practitioners in New York, Joshua took his first yoga class a week after relocating from LA to the Pacific Northwest. After three years of attending classes, Joshua completed his 200-hour Classic 26 certification at Be Yoga. Joshua runs a production company focused on live video game broadcasts and digital media. He strongly believes that yoga offers a powerful way for the digital generation to reconnect with their natural selves.

    Meghan Lewis

    Meghan has been practicing yoga since the early 90’s and teaching the Original Hot Yoga since 2002. While living at a Buddhist temple in 1997, Meghan met one of the owners of Seattle’s first Hot Yoga studio. Alongside friends (some monks and nuns included), she became a regular at the Yoga College of India in Greenlake. The structured, distraction-free classes were the medicine she’d been seeking. By 2002, her practice led her to attend Bikram Teacher Training in LA. Meghan has taught at many Seattle studios and has been with Be Yoga since 2014. Her classes are meditative and precise, aiming to leave you with a balanced nervous system, a clear mind, and renewed strength, balance, and flexibility.

    Marena Heap

    After a series of sports injuries, Marena turned to yoga for healing and discovered its restorative power. As she rebuilt strength and reconnected with herself, she found Barre and was instantly hooked due to its elements of precision, musicality, and joy. As a teacher, Marena aims to help others feel empowered, safe, and strong in their bodies. She hopes her students leave class feeling connected, uplifted, and joyful—whether they’re dancing between sets or sharing a laugh mid-plank. Students can expect upbeat energy, curated playlists, and a supportive space where challenge meets fun. Marena’s classes blend structure and creativity while offering a safe and welcoming experience for all levels.

    Tori’s yoga journey began over a decade ago and quickly became life-changing. Through her regular practice, she healed and deepened the connection between her mind and body.  She fell in love with how yoga made her feel physically, mentally, and emotionally. What started as a practice became a lifestyle, one she continues to embrace for the health, joy, and balance it brings. As a teacher, Tori aims to guide students into a moving meditation, helping them cultivate presence and flow on the mat. Her classes offer consistency, thoughtfully balanced sequences, a fun and welcoming vibe, and just the right amount of challenge.

    Becca walked into her first yoga class at Be Yoga in May 2024, searching for connection and ultimately finding something that felt like home. What began as a way to navigate a difficult season quickly became a path of healing, purpose, and self-discovery. She fell in love with the practice and completed her Hatha teacher training just a few months later. She now works at the front desk and is grateful to be surrounded by the community that has changed her life. Yoga has become her compass, guiding her with clarity, calm, and deep love.

Drawn in by the welcoming community and inspiring teachers, Camille gradually discovered that yoga was about so much more than chasing endorphins—it was a path to deeper connection and self-awareness. Today, Camille works at the front desk, cherishing her role in the Be Yoga community along with the opportunity to connect with others along their journey of self-discovery.
